Retouching – FAQS

What are your rates?
Because every image is unique, I will need to see high resolution images with a detailed description of what you would like done. This way I can provide an accurate quote and delivery time estimate. I understand every client has their own retouching needs, requests and budget; I will work with you to achieve the best results.

Do you offer any discounts on your photo retouching services?
It depends on the quantity ordered.

How do you accept payments?
I use PayPal. You may still use your credit or debit card through PayPal without having a PayPal account. PayPal notifies me of all transactions.

What are your terms?
All image orders are paid in full at the beginning of the order unless other agreement has been made.

How long does it take to retouch an order?
All orders need their own amount of time. Average turn around is 7-10 business days unless a rush is requested. Rush fees may be applicable.

How do I send the images for you to quote or retouch?
You can send the high resolution images by email to hello@cherishlivedream.com, use your own file transfer service, such as Dropbox or WeTransfer.

What if I do not want you to use my before images on your website?
I will only use the before images if my client agrees to it. I use the before and/or after images on my website and social media. I respect and honor my client’s privacy and confidentiality.

Is there a minimum per photo retouching order?
No.

Do I need to sign a release?
Yes. An online release form needs to be filled out, signed and is due at the beginning of the order. If there is anything in the release that you are not sure about, please let me know. The release allows me to retouch the images, agrees to my terms and the estimate provided.

Will I receive a proof?
Yes, you will receive you image fully retouched and be allowed to make revisions to your specifications.

How do I receive the retouched final images?
I send all retouched images at the end of the order. I am not responsible for sending any images to a third party besides the paying party or responsible for resending files if you do not download the files in time or the files are lost after receiving/downloading. You should make backups of your files. I am not required to keep them.

Do you provide rush order service?
Yes. There is a surcharge fee depending on the order and the time involved. Rush orders are paid in full at the time of placing the order.

What if I want to put my retouching order on hold or cancel?
Once your order is in production, it cannot be canceled or placed on hold.

What are your business hours?
Typically I work Monday through Friday 9-6 EST (Excluding Holidays). If you contact me after business hours, I will return your email the next business morning or sooner.
