Keeping us on the same page for expectations and product satisfaction.
With this first phone conversation, I answer any immediate questions and will set up the following 3 appointments. To book these sessions, your deposit will be taken over the phone or via the Internet. At this time I accept credit cards or Paypal. In the event of inclement weather at the time of your session, I will be in touch to discuss options and possible rescheduling. Deposits are non-refundable within 1 week before your session.
Client Agreement & Model Release
All my forms are located online and can be signed electronically. Before I photograph any session, I require the client agreement to be signed. My client agreement includes a model release. This release will allow me to use the photographs for business purposes and is kept with my client files. The images I post are tasteful and represent the most beautiful portrayal of my clients. If you are concerned about this, you can indicate on the contract form any exceptions in the Notes field. Sign my client agreement.
At the time of booking your session, I will set up a consultation approximately 1 week before your photo session. This meeting can be in person, Skype or by phone, I find it helpful to discuss your personal photography needs prior to your session. The consultation is so I can discuss the style of images you were considering, how you will be displaying the images, your approximate budget and which location would suit you and your family. I will answer any questions you may have, as well as give advice on outfits, makeup, and other important details.
Approximately 1-2 weeks after the photography session, you will receive a link to an online image gallery allowing you to view your images from the comfort of your home or office. These images will include minor edits and color correction (“pre-touched”). Should you wish to have your images perfected, retouching options can be discussed during your post-session consultation. I post the gallery complimentary for 45 days.
Turnaround Time For Retouch Orders
Each portrait is hand-retouched to reflect my quality standards. My standard retouching includes removal of small scratches, marks, light bruises and stray hairs and generally refines the photo in order to present subjects at their very best. I also enhance color, clarity, and sharpness which makes a beautiful difference in the final product. Large wall art pieces receive additional editing and enhancement, as they will likely hang on your walls for years, and then be handed down to the next generation. Specialty retouching or artwork is possible for an additional fee.
As quality takes time, please plan for one to two weeks. At times I will be able to finish orders sooner than this, but I’ll be able to give you the most accurate estimate at the time you place your order. I promise it will be worth the wait!
