A few session policies to ensure the process goes smoothly for everyone:
Currently sessions are photographed on Saturday & Sunday 9am – 5pm with special scheduling for beach or sunrise portraits. I also offer evening appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The session fee goes toward the photographer’s time and talent spent taking your portraits and is non-refundable. It also covers the time spent in post-processing and the preparation of your final originals for online viewing. It is not a deposit towards the purchase of the portraits. I guarantee your satisfaction or I will re-shoot your session. If you decide to cancel your session, I will issue you a studio credit to use within 1 year of cancellation.
Session cancellation policy is fair but firm:
– with more than 48 hours notice I offer studio credit for future use or rescheduling
– with 24 hours notice I offer rescheduling only
– with less than 24 hours notice or a no show, your forfeit your session fee
(I realize that sudden sickness or emergencies can occur and in these cases I will be as understanding and flexible as possible, just call me at the first sign that you, or a family member, might not be at your best for the scheduled session)
A password-protected online gallery from your session will be available within 1-2 weeks depending on the season and studio workload. I will email, Facebook message or call you as soon as your gallery goes online. I sometimes post “sneak peek” images on my Facebook and blog as I am working on your images and will happily allow tagging as long as my watermark/log is kept intact. Tagging is always welcome!
Galleries remain online for 14 days. You will be able to “heart” your favorite photos and we can discuss them during your post-session consultation and ordering. If you require more than 14 days, there is a $25 re-posting fee to reactivate your gallery for 7 additional days.
As quality takes time, please plan for one to two weeks to receive discs or gift sized prints (8×10 and smaller) and three to four weeks for wall art and albums. At times we will be able to finish orders sooner than this, but we’ll be able to give you the most accurate estimate at the time you place your order.
I guarantee all of my prints and products so if you for any reason are not 100% pleased with any item or print, please let me know as soon as you receive them. No reprints will be made once you have had the prints/products in your home for more than 48 hours.
Only images ordered will be kept on file for 6 months at my studio in case your need to order additional prints. After 6 months I cannot guarantee I will have your files.
